In summer 2018, legendary basketball player LeBron James signed a four-year, $153 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, signaling his officialВ departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers and his hometown of Akron, Ohio. Prior to the switch, James bought a sizable mansion in Los Angeles's upscale Brentwood neighborhood for a cool $23 million, adding another home to his already impressive real estate portfolio, which includes another L.A. mansion and his Akron home.
